How Nandhanam Foods Began
Founded in 2015, Nandhanam Foods started as a humble home venture in Kalickanaikanpalayam with a simple, unwavering mission — to bring back the pure, unadulterated foods that our grandparents grew up with. Our founder Ramesh watched with concern as supermarket shelves filled up with heavily processed oils and artificially fortified products that had stripped away the very nutrition families needed.
Armed with a centuries-old wooden ghani (oil press), quality groundnuts sourced from trusted local farmers, and a determination to do things right, Nandhanam Foods pressed its first batch of oil in a small shed. The deep amber colour, the rich nutty aroma, and the genuine flavour spoke for themselves. Word spread quickly — from neighbours to relatives, from office colleagues to entire apartment complexes.
Nine years later, we serve over 8,000 families across Coimbatore and Tamil Nadu. We've grown to offer cold pressed oils, stone-ground idly powders, organic millets, pure forest honey, and natural spices — all made without chemicals, preservatives, or shortcuts.
